Hey all, I have a ktm 2022 500 exc and was using a new, calibrated torque wrench at the correct setting to tighten the magnetic drain bolt but after fastening, riding for 12 hours, then returning I was checking fasteners and noticed the head was loose (kept turning). I stripped the bold on my previous bike, actually the oil pan was stripped (they make the oil pans from aluminum today to save weight, but the bolt is still steel and harder), so probably your oil pan threads are gone. As pawpaw said, theres little material there and it likely wont seal. If you look at the parts fiche online it might list the size and pitch.
